Seminars and Events

The research station has several regular research seminars:

The Geometry Seminar (GS) is the common research seminar of the Research Station. It usually takes place every other Tuesday at 13:00 in SR C. Before the seminar, we usually have lunch together.

The Symplectic Geometry Seminar (SGS) usually takes place on Wednesdays at 1:15 in SR 4.

The new seminar Geometry and Groups Seminar (GGS) replaces the Differential Geometry Seminar (DGS) and will take place as usual on Thursdays at 14:15 in SR 8.

The RTG colloquium of the Research Training Group 2229 together with KIT (Karlsruhe) alternates with the Geometry Seminar and takes place every other Tuesday, either in Heidelberg or in Karlsruhe.

The Heidelberg Experimental Geometry Lab (HEGL) organizes the HEGL Community Seminar, which takes place on Mondays at 14:15 in SR C or online.
